Nicki Harfield established Quality Matters in 2004, providing training and consultancy services within the care sector, with a vision to provide high quality affordable services to single or smaller care sector organisations. In recent years the range of training offered has widened to include leadership and management skills and specialist subjects, such as Diabetes control. The organisation is constantly expanding to meet the needs of the sector.

Nicki Harfield is a fully qualified and experienced trainer. Nicki is committed to making training an enjoyable learning activity which is accessible and understandable to all. She uses her considerable experience within the care sector of commissioning, management, troubleshooting and consultancy to enhance development and delivery of training sessions.

  • RGN, DMS, Certificate in Education (Post Compulsory)
  • NEBOSH Certificate
  • ENB N11 Caring for a person with Dementia
  • QCF/NVQ Assessor and Internal/External Verifier
  • Extensive Home Management experience in Care Home sector

Ray Harfield

Ray is responsible for the day to day administration of the business, dealing with invoices, issuing Certificates of Attendance and general enquiries. He also delivers some training sessions.

Jenny Harper

Jenny is a service development consultant and professional coach. She is an RGN with more than 20 years nursing experience and a decade in management of health and social care services. Jenny has an MBA in public services management and has studied both personal performance and corporate & executive coaching diplomas.
